I did that with good conscience because I thought the cap was introduced to fix cheese, not normal play, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I do use a regen cap mod - 'Reasonable Regen Cap' I think it was called, which increases the limit from 75% to 200%, I think. I understood that the cap was introduced at least in part due to cheese play where you put every unit on top of each other and then regen all of them, all the time, or something like that. I haven't played VC's thoroughly since then. One of the main mechanics of the vampire counts is the regen thing - Manfred (and all vampires) get the hunger, which regens hp in combat, he also gets that nice item of his, 'healing' spells, healing auras from various units.Īnd then they introduced the regen/heal cap. It says it gives your Lord a passive ability that greatly replenishes HP, its constant. those units become a bit harder to get rid of. I am confused as to what getting The Curse of Undeath actually does. Still, with a few lodestone carts, a necromancer or two. Why is this called a curse anyway? It's glorious, I tell you, glorious!
